Match report Another solid team bowling performance restricted the home team to 58 for 6 from thier allotted 20 overs. In reply (after a few early scares) Ricky Lipman and Jack Plane got us off to a good start before Jack was bowled on 5. Ricky batted with his usual flair (including an attempted Kevin Pietersen) and was well supported by Sam Ward (10no)before being contraversially given out lbw by Graham Davies (standing in for Billy Bowden). The winning run was scored by Joe Holmes playing in his first game with a solid looking drive. The only downside to another solid team performance was the injury sustained to inspirational captain Tom Wellman. He pulled up during his second over with what appears to be a torn or pulled muscle in his bowling arm. Man of the match N Willams (scorer, and 2008 quiz team champion)
