Match report After last weeks woeful batting effort I was worried that this game could go the same way.

After limiting the visitors to 48 all out (this total could have been much lower but we took the opportunity of giving our less experienced bowlers a go) we looked as though we would reach our target after 5 overs. But then we never do things the easy way and mini collapse (5 wickets for 11 runs)meant that we eventually crossed the line with 10 overs to spare.

To be fair benfleet were young, weak opponents............and I am looking forward to us beating them again in the return match tomorrow.
