Match report Local game & got a lift so a late start for a change. Got there about 11.30, most of the boys already there. Lovely & sunny, no sign of the forecast rain.

Lost the toss & fielded first. Was hard work, Brown with his 2nd blank sheet of the season in 16 overs. Mr Lewis (12 overs) and Michael (4 overs) also drew blanks. Wicket takers were Asif - 4 for 52 including a caught & bowled, and Kiran - 2 for 32. Wells ended up on 234-6, the highest total scored against us this season.

In reply Tanvir top scored with 34 and the lads further down the order did well, Danny with 16, Mr Lewis 21 & Brown 22 not out taking us to 149, 85 runs short of the target.

As for me, apparently I'm the worst scorer ever so if you know anyone that wants a Saturday job, give Bas & Pits a call.
