FOURTH XI CHANGES

09 Jul 2018

At the time of writing this email, the League has advised me that due to continued lack of availability within our club, our 4th XI have been expelled from the League program for the remainder of the 2018 season.

The Saturday 4th XI has long been a fantastic cricket opportunity for all of our players; be it the younger players that come through from the youth section, the players who still want a game even into their maturer years, and the occasional players who cannot commit to whole seasons.  With this in mind, the Management Committee of the club are still committed to running 4 teams on a Saturday, and as a result, I have approached all of our opposition for the remainder of the season to ask them if they wish to play friendly matches which followed our League program.

I am waiting to hear back from a couple of our opposition, however so far the feedback to this proposal has been very accepting and all clubs have been in agreement to continue playing where we can.

With this in mind, I would ask members to continue to make themselves available, and to advise of their availability, so that we can continue to field as many teams as possible so that we can offer all our members cricket.

If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me.

Best regards
